Christmas, Christmas, Christmas
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! Yes, the holiday season is here and families are together. My brother, his wife and children arrived from Dallas, Texas. My sister and her new husband of six months live close and of course my ever-so-thoughtful parents are all together. Wait; I am here too, but it’s just me for now! This year still didn’t bring me my significant other…not a big deal; didn’t have time for that; wasn’t looking!
Last night we gathered around the kitchen table and played games. Chickenfoot! Can you imagine a game called Chickenfoot? What were the creators thinking? This has been a game for years now that we play every year as a family. It has become a tradition and addicting! This game always brings out the competitive nature in me. It’s a great game, but the name is just hard to get over. Is this domino game a Texas thing ya’ll?
I am sure the game will continue tonight after visiting the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. They will probably join in the tradition with us. Tomorrow is the day of gift opening. I am looking forward to this years gift opening, because my niece and nephew are two and three-years-old. They are excited to be able to open their gifts. Their expressions are priceless, and they remind me of when I was younger. I absolutely love these little guys!
So that’s my holiday thus far. I know this has nothing to do with Commercial Real Estate, but I just wanted to make a post of what’s going on. If you read this far, I wish you and your family a Happy Holiday Season and a prosperous 2008. I look forward to seeing what it has in store for us and our business!
