Prepared and Ready for Edouard
Today has been filled with making deals and preparing for Tropical Storm Edouard who is planning to pay a visit here in the Houston area.I spent part of my day receiving offers on one of my residential properties, however, can’t complete the deal since the title company has closed until Wednesday. Let’s hope the storm doesn’t keep us out of business for too long.The other part of the day has been picking up the yard of chairs, umbrella’s and swimming pool items and boarding up windows at my parents. They live in Galveston County, only minutes from Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. It is always interesting the day before storms. It is always extremely hot, calm and clear-sunny skies. The water was unbelievable today. I took a drive to look at the water and it was calm and blue. The Gulf was a bit rough with the tides rising. So with that, let’s hope for the best and damage is kept to a minimum because we are in the direct path!
